To ensure the excellence of research in the SEEK programme, a scientific board composed of distinguished international scholars was created. New project proposals are evaluated by this board. The main criteria for assessing the proposals are the scientific quality, the originality, and the strength of the scientific cooperation, including international exchange of researchers.
